I am getting more and more independent all the time! I been working
on crawling this month... so far, I can go backwards pretty well, but
I'm still working on going forwards. I kind of hop with my knees
like a frog - Mom thinks it's cute.
The big thing this month is eating. I really like eating big people
food - not my baby food. At Thanksgiving I grabbed a handful
of mashed sweet potatoes from Daddy's plate. Whenever I see anyone
eating, I want what they've got! I like to chew on celery, bell
pepper, salty tortilla chips and french fries... Of course just to gum,
not to eat. I do eat mashed cantaloupe, grapes, pears and anything
else that Mom and Dad can mash up really well for me. And, I
prefer the regular oatmeal to the baby stuff. It has a more interesting
texture I like to feel with my tongue.
